My name is Melanie Aguilar and I will be sponsoring Armani Mendez in the annual Delta Phi Epsilon Deepher Dude Pageant!
Each year the sisters of Delta Phi Epsilon raise money and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. CF is a progressive genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. This happens through a defective gene, which causes a thick buildup of mucus in the lungs that clogs airways and traps bacteria leading to infections, extensive lung damage and, eventually, respiratory failure. The average lifespans for patients with CF is about 37 and it affects almost 70,000 people.
Come support Armani on Wednesday, November 7th in the Student Center as he shows us his best mixer wear, swim wear, formal wear and talent with hopes of being crowned our next Deepher Dude!
