Kandy Strong

Kandy has been serving the Hampden community for the last 18 years. Kandys the warm, smiling face you seen when you first walk into the Public Safety Building. On March 27, 2019, Kandy unexpectedly lost her father due to undetected cancer. Just three short weeks later, Kandy herself was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. The cancer has metastasized to her lymph nodes, neck vertebrae, and other bones in her body. She has since undergone radiation, and just began chemotherapy. Kandy shows perseverance and continues to work as much as she can.

Friends, family, and the community of Hampden are all on Kandys side as she fights this courageous battle.
