Kamie Ruddy Memorial Service

Donation protected
Kamie Ruddy was born on February 7, 1962.  She was the youngest of the five Ruddy kids who grew up in Santa Ana.  She loved her clients, cooking and her family.  She passed away on September 19, 2017.

Kamie had been battling with her health the last 7 or so years.  She had a difficult time keeping her diabetes under control and lost her leg.  On Sept. 19, around 6:30 pm, she called John and told him that she was having difficulty breathing.  He told her that he was on his way home and to call 911.  When the paramedics arrived, she was responsive and cooperative.  The paramedics were preparing to transport her to the hospital when she became unreponsive.  They attempted CPR en route to the hospital.  Once they arrived at the hospital, the team there continued to try to revive her. Unfortunately, all attempts were unsuccessful.

Kamie was an outgoing hairdresser who worked in Orange her entire career.  She had many friends and loved ones.  Please feel free to share with those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother Polly and her father Austin.  She leaves behind two sisters (Kathy and Tracy) and two brothers (Kevin and Terry).  She loved her nieces Bianca, Raymee and Kinzee and well as her two nephews, Sean and Andrew.  She also leaves behind her partner of 10 years, John and his daughter Brianna.

We are kindly asking for your help in giving Kamie the burial she wanted and deserves.  Unfortunately, the family is not in a position at this time to pay for the funeral which is why we're asking for your help.  If you're able to donate, any amount would be very much appreciated.

Kamie made it very clear that she did not wish to be cremated.  Tracy and Bianca are handling the arrangements.
