Kaley's Child Nursing in Cambodia

Hello everyone, thank you so much for visiting my page! My name is Kaley and I'm currently studying to become a Children's Nurse at the University of Huddersfield. I have a huge passion for Children's Nursing and have loved every moment of my journey so far!
I have decided to undertake a nursing elective in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I will be flying out in July 2019 where I will spend 2 weeks working within a hospital and seeing how different health care is in Asia. I will rotate across a range of departments to treat a diverse range of conditions including malaria, influenza, diarrhoea, tuberculosis, HIV, and more. It will be a fantastic experience!
One-third of children in Cambodia suffer from malnutrition which can result in tragic deaths. It has a significant impact on a child's quality of life and I cannot wait to be in Cambodia helping these children get better. The training I have received in the UK will help me to provide them with the best care possible and improve their quality of life.
This experience is once in a life-time and an invaluable learning opportunity that will positively impact the nurse I will become.
Who is Work the World?
Work the World is a safe and reliable organisation recommended by universities. It offers health care students tailored electives. They assist students to boost their career prospects and do a fantastic job!
Whilst this is a amazing opportunity, I must fund this myself and I would like to raise money to help towards the cost. I will be organising cake sales and other fundraising activities.
I do not expect to raise the full amount as it is a lot of money but I will do my best as I need to cover...
