Tampon Tuesday Fundraiser

Our workplace, the Health Sciences Association, is taking part in Tampon Tuesday, a campaign by the United Way to support people in need of menstrual products. We are also partnering with the Dixon Transition Society in Burnaby and the Comox Valley Transition Society in Courtenay.
Our workplace team, End of Sentence, is participating in this campaign because we believe that no one should have to choose between buying food and buying menstrual products. We think access to menstrual products is a human right, and until they are subsidized by the government, drives like these are needed to support people who are too often struggling to get by.
All donations we receive through our Go Fund Me page will go directly to purchasing menstrual products for the United Way, the Dixon Transition Society, and the Comox Valley Transition Society. We have secured a deal where HSA, as part of this campaign, can purchase menstrual cups at cost. These cups are environmentally friendly and economically smart.
