KineticArchitecture Dance Theatre was founded in 1994 by acclaimed transgender performance artist, choreographer, & story-teller Arrie Bronson-Davidson. KADT is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that presents socially relevant, athletic, visually stunning, and artistically progressive works in New York City.
We are honored to be a 2016 Dixon Place Artist-in-Residence and have developed an evening-length work during this time.
Due to our Dixon Place residency, we have an amazing opportunity before us, and we are raising money for the production of Wonder/Through the Looking Glass Houses premiering at Dixon Place in December 2016. These funds will go towards our production costs such as costume & set design and production, music & video editing, and performer pay.
We are already in full production mode, and the performances will be upon us shortly! Your donations will help us get all the way there and produce our best show yet.
Wonder/Through the Looking Glass Houses skewers the tales of Lewis Carroll and creates a world of violent reflection and taboo transformation; Bronson-Davidson will portray the White Rabbit with a Marilyn Monroe-twist representing phantom icons never quite in the right place at the right time. Favorites Alice, Madd Hatter, Cheshire Cat, The Queen of Hearts and more collide in an identity crisis resembling Burning Man at Versailles.
Mrs. Arrie Bronson-Davidson wants to bring this story of transformation to life to promote awareness of some of the darker LGBTQ issues associated with change and acceptance. Please help us bring her message to the public by donating.
