The Story
Everyone in college wonders what they’re going to do after finishing their studies. Knowing that I would be done with Southern in December, I asked God to lead my next steps. I had no idea where God would lead next.
Well, most of you who know me know that I love singing and songwriting. Some of you have shared that a song I’ve written has been a blessing to you, and it’s been a joy to know God can use a broken person like me to reach other broken people for His glory.
Still, I never thought sharing God’s love through music full-time could ever be a possibility for me.
One night in November, I prayed for God to lead. I asked Him to show me what He wanted me to do with music. Was the songwriting and singing supposed to be a side hobby or was there something more that He wanted me to do with it?
A couple days later, a man I worked at camp with shared a link to a group he helped found thirty years ago. They started in Australia with a mission to reach others and share God’s love through music, full-time.
Full-time music ministry meant they had to live in faith, asking God to meet their needs and provide for them to share His message. The link said this group, Endless Praise, was auditioning people for their next cycle of musicians.
For some reason, I felt convicted to audition, even though I live thousands of miles away from Australia and don’t have money to move there. I was so unsure of whether I would be accepted, but, by God’s grace, Endless Praise has invited me to join their music group to do full-time music ministry!
They tour all across Australia, reaching all types of people through various churches, schools, and anywhere God calls them to go!
I am excited to join the Endless Praise Family, but need your help to get to Australia!
They will take care of most of my needs, such as housing and food, when I get there, but I have an immediate need to raise money for my airfare + visa!
It’s been a crazy journey, even in these beginning stages. Some of you know there were other mission opportunities open, but, in the end, God closed all the other doors and saw fit to leave this one open.
I want to walk through it because I’ve seen firsthand the impact of music ministry. I know that it changes lives and reaches people even if they’ve hardened themselves to hearing a sermon or participating in a Bible study.
I know because, in my darkest hour when I hated God, God changed my life through two things: Steps to Christ (link here: http://steps-to-christ.org/) and the songs that reminded me of Him.
I don’t know yet whether this need will be met, but I know that God is in control and He is faithful. Where He guides, He will provide, so I trust Him and know that if He wants me to go to Australia to do full-time music ministry, He will open up the financial doors to do so.
If you can’t give, please continue to pray that God will provide in His timing and for me as I go to a country I’ve never been to before to witness for Him through music!

God Loves You - My campers from PSR and Mt. Aetna will remember this as the lullaby they fell asleep to in my cabin! Those who canvassed with me during summer ’13: here’s a real recording (finally lol).

Day by Day – Hands-down, my favorite hymn right now. 100+ years later, this is still encouraging.

I Need You More – I’ll never forget replaying this Bethel Worship song for at least an hour on a road trip back home for Thanksgiving. Simple + beautiful.

Only You – Wrote the chorus at 2 am on a rainy September night, realizing there’s no way I could live without Him.
“Only you, only you can satisfy / You’re what I needed, didn’t know I was missing You all this time / Lord, I’m so sorry, I know you were searching for me / Even when I strayed from home / Now that I’m here, don’t want to let You go”
I Will Wait for You (Patiently) – Dedicated to all of us who are waiting for relationships in God’s timing.
