Nicole's Help & Health Fund

Aloha Ohana and friends, Our dear friend, Nicole, is experiencing financial straits on top of very serious health challenges. Nicole is in Oakland staying with family members and friends while she moves through some medication changes and a surgery. She will be having a hysterectomy to remove a large mass in her uterus this summer. We are praying it’s not cancer. Unfortunately that has not been ruled out. Nicole is also in the last two months of a benzodiazepine taper. She’s been in this process for 2 years so far. It was doctor-prescribed and unfortunately, without full disclosure of the consequences. Consequences being a drug-induced brain injury. On top of that, we all know that Nicole's dear body is already in a state of vulnerability. Myself and others who love Nicole want to help raise funds so that she can rent a car (unless someone wants to loan her one), get much needed acupuncture sessions, herbs, supplements, holistic care, post surgery care and airfare to return her dear self home when she’s recovered. This will make a huge difference in Nicole’s life in this moment, and make a very challenging time a bit more easier for her to navigate.
