K9 Officer Mitchell Needs Your Help

Officer K9 'Mitchell', of the Jamestown PD in NY, was stabbed and severely wounded while assisting in the apprehension of a local accused of murder, in November of last year. His life was saved through an emergency surgery and was followed by an extensive recovery period.
Project Overwatch (Learn More About Us ) is providing support to the Jamestown Police Department by raising money to purchase a K9 back mounted camera system from Tactical Electronics that will increase K9 Mitchell's safety during suspect engagements .
The K9 mounted camera system will be used to give every officer on the scene better situational awareness
and to pull K9 Mitchell out of dangerous situations when his handler has no visibility.
