K9 for Randell

Randell Caldwell is an amazing veteran! He has been accepted into the K9 for Vets program to receive his own Service Dog to assist him through his PTSD. K9 for Vets is a not for profit organization that trains rescued dogs to be Service Dogs for Veterans. The dog and training are absolutely free. The Veteran funds the travel, food, and lodging while he trains with his dog. Your donation will help with these expenses and give back to somene who gives so much to his country and fellow Veterans.
MEEET RANDELL: Randell served in the Army with the 101st Airborne Division 1st brigade combat team for 3 years, 1 year in Iraq as the war kicked off in 2003. Randell completed many missions with his brigade, and like so many of our enlisted, he served willingly and selflessly. After returning home in 2005, Randell continues to serve other veterans by working with Battleforged Nation as the state of Ohio Representive and part of the National QRF that responds, aids, and helps Veterans in need. He also is a member of the American Legion Honor Guard and the Vice Presdent of Dangerous Grounds Network, an underground radio show for veterans and patriots that supports all veteran based groups.
Randell lives in a small town in Southern Ohio. He is a father to an 11year old girl who he adores, and engaged to his best friend, Jenne, and soon to be stepdad to an amazing 6 year old boy. He loves his family, giving back to veterans, and helping in any way that he can. Day to day life has its ups and downs as he deals with his PTSD. Gong into stores alone and dealing with large crowds can be challenging and a Service Dog will be a great help to Randell in these situations and much more.
