Michael Beato's Funeral Fund

My brother, Mike was an amazing person. He was loved by anyone he came in contact with, but he suffered from the disease of addiction. A few years ago he made the decision to move to Florida to start the recovery process. He was involved in a 12 step program, had a job, working to help other addicts get into treatment, met a beautiful woman, and was ready to start a life with her. Unfortunately, his disease took over and he used again after having 5 years clean. He agreed to go back to the halfway house after using for just a few days, and when he arrived there, used one last time in the bathroom and overdosed. By the time police got there and broke through the door, it was too late for my brother. We lost the greatest person I've ever known. We now have to have Mike's body shipped to NJ from FL, have a funeral and bury him. Our family never thought something like this would ever happen to Mike, because he was doing so well, and we're struggling financially, trying to find the means to give him the funeral he deserves. We greatly appreciate any donation, big or small. Thank you to everyone for all your condolences. I never imagined how many people Mike touched throughout his short life. We weren't just brothers, we were best friends.
