Colombia Mission Trip

Months ago I started praying about how I wanted to spend my 40th birthday. It’s a big one and I have been through some pretty big things. Typical Vegas etc., just didn’t seem fitting. After weeks of really thinking about this, I was approached and asked if I would consider going on a Mission Trip to Columbia (which just happens to be the week I turn 40).

On a local level, this is somewhat of a high profile journey so the honor is great. After literally months of background checks, interviews etc., I got a call saying I have been officially selected and going to Columbia in several weeks.

Although the organization is handling some costs, they are a non profit and still my expense is quite large and I have three weeks to retain that need so prayers for sure needed and appreciated. The amount raised will be utilized in part, in ways rarely available for missions. I will be able to use this money to directly help those I see in need in ways that is specific to their individual needs. These families live on less than 2.00 a day.  I will personally meet with a family I have been sponsoring as well. My pledge to you, is keep you apart of this process and journey. I will be posting daily videos and seek your insight on how you would like me to spend your money and all the money raised. I will post pictures of items and situations to which I also used the funds donated.  My goal is to not only make you proud but to leave this mission making you see how important your contribution was and that you truly were apart of this journey also. 

I know this is what I am suppose to do and am excited for this opportunity.
