Bishop Family Medical Fund

Donation protected
Justin Bishop, 30, of Pasadena, Texas, youngest child of Gary & Rhonda Bishop and my nephew, is battling a rare yet aggressive form of Stage IV Neuroendocrine Tumor (NET) cancer, which initially occurs in the intestinal area.

The diagnosis was given August of 2016. With surgery and chemo, they believed that 99% of the cancer was removed and further testing indicated no activity. Just recently, October 2017, they determined that the cancer had resurfaced in Justin's pancreas and into his lymph nodes (meaning Stage IV). As of 10/24/17, they are waiting on word from Justin's doctors regarding further treatment.

The family is in dire need of funds after exhausting a 401K account and all of their savings. Gary and Justin get a small monthly amount via disability payments and Rhonda is currently out of work, spending all of her time taking care of Justin and babysitting a grandchild. Both parents have foregone their own medical needs in taking care of Justin.

This money would be used for the 2018 deductible, possibly $7,000+ depending on a new AHA (Obamacare) Insurance Plan since Blue Cross/Blue Shield is opting out. It would also be used for an adjustable bed for Justin, other family medical needs & basic living expenses/rent over the next year.

Thank you for your donation, no amount is too small. I will update as necessary, God Bless.
