Madre, esposa, abuela, suegra y amiga ejemplar. Una mujer trabajadora e independiente, entregada totalmente a su familia y a los que la rodean. Amorosa, bondadosa y muy alegre, una mujer de buen corazón. No se ha rendido en las peores pruebas de su vida ni lo hará ahora en ésta.
Mi amada mamá enfrenta una nueva batalla:
Carcinoma Ductal Inflitrante (Grado Histológico 2), Cáncer de Mama, para decirlo en palabras sencillas. Se le practicó biopsia para estudios anatomatopatológico e inmunohistoquímica.
El procedimiento quirúrgico consiste en: Mastectomia parcial + ganglio centinella + radioterapia intraoperatorio (intrabeam).
Toda la familia y amigos están abocados a reunir el dinero pero la situación en Venezuela no es fácil y aún no llegamos a la meta porque los montos son muy elevados.
Todo lo recaudado será destinado a cubrir los costos de la intervención quirúrgica así como el tratamiento post-operatorio (sesiones de Radioterapia) y medicinas.
Los fondos serán retirados por mi prima Susana Carpio (sobrina de Ileana) quien tiene cuenta bancaria en Estados Unidos.
Serán transferidos desde la cuenta bancaria de Susana en EEUU a cada ente involucrado en el caso:
- Clínica Leopoldo Aguerrevere (enviado a una cuenta de Isaura García - mamá de Susana- en Venezuela y de allí pagar por transferencia al centro médico).
- Honorarios médicos (transferidos a una cuenta bancaria en EEUU del cirujano).
- Empresa encargada del equipo de radioterapia Intrabeam (transferidos a una cuenta en EUU de la empresa).
¡No tenemos mucho tiempo!, la intervención quirúrgica se realizará este próximo 27 de Junio de 2018.
Mi madre merece ganar esta batalla. Confiamos en la bondad de muchos para lograr recabar el dinero necesario.

Mother, wife, grandmother, mother-in-law and exemplary friend. A hardworking and independent woman, totally dedicated to her family and those around her. Loving, kind and very cheerful, a woman with a good heart. She never surrendered in the worst moments of her life nor will she now.
My beloved mom is facing a new great battle:
Influent Ductal Carcinoma (Histological Grade 2), Breast Cancer, to put it in simple words. A biopsy was performed for anatomopathological and immunohistochemical studies.
The surgical procedure consists of: partial mastectomy + centinella ganglion + intraoperative radiotherapy (intrabeam).
All the family and friends are devoted to collect the money but the situation in Venezuela is difficult and we are far from reaching the goal.
All the money raised will be used to cover the costs of the surgical procedure as well as the post-operative treatment (radiotherapy sessions) and medicines.

Funds will be transfered to an US account that belongs to my cousin Susana Carpio. She will manage the transfer to cover the expenses:
- Clínica Leopoldo Aguerrevere (sent to an account of Isaura García - mother of Susana- in Venezuela).
- Medical fees (transferred to a bank account in the US by the surgeon).
- Company in charge of the Intrabeam radiotherapy team (transferred to a company's EUU account).
We do not have much time! The surgical procedure will take place on June 27, 2018.

We wait for the next consultation on July 30 to inform us if you need chemotherapy or not. That is why the campaign is still open. We will keep you informed.
