Junior's 250 miles Charity Walk

Hi everyone,
I am volunteering for a charity called Revive Congo, a non-profit charity that seeks to empower and create opportunities for young people in the Democratic Republic of Congo between the ages of 8-21.
Prior to getting involved with Revive Congo, I fell in love with the collective passion and drive to make a change in Congo. Even more so, I completely believe in their model and plans to foster the leaders of tomorrow.
To do this, we are fundraising to send a group of girls to school this year & develop a programme in Congo to give our next generation the skills so they can be employable and take on Congo. Given that Congo is known as one of the most dangerous places to be a woman (previously the worst), we know that we cannot reach our mission/goals alone. We are proud to join hands and collaborate with fellow charities to safely develop these young girls into the women of tomorrow.
So for my effort in making this happen, I am going to walk 250 miles (London to Middlesbrough) this coming October. The walk will begin from London's King Cross and will end in Middlesbrough Town Centre. I will actively be blogging, live videoing, sharing my journey and my aim will be to walk on average 40 miles a day!
Amongst other projects, I will also put on a fundraiser show in January 2019 and sing! as the headliner myself. I have spoken to a singing teacher who will work with me on this and hopefully I can actually hold a couple of notes on stage.
