Jungle Jen is Kicking Cancer

I am a 42 year old single mom of an 11 year old girl. I am an environmental educator and teach all kinds of children about science and nature. I also rehabilitate orphaned and injured wildlife. Most of my free time is spent outdoors organizing creek and river cleanups and other tree hugging activities. I was supposed to finish my degree in the fall and go for a teaching certificate. I was just diagnosed with ductal carcinoma inSitu...the “best” form of breast cancer?? I have already had two mammograms, a needle biopsy, and and two lumpectomies. I’m almost halfway through radiation and some days can barely move. I’m worried about the days I might miss work, so far I haven’t missed...I need the money. Almost done......soooo close.
