Julio Cesar's Ortega Funeral

My name is Ashley Ortega, my Father was Julio Ortega. He was unexpectedly taken from me on November 9, 2017 - a victim of a tragic homicide.  My Papi was found slumped in the driver's seat of his vehicle parked outside an Omaha police station. It is believed he drove to the precinct station and then died. Police have not announced an arrest in the case.

My Papi loved cars and frequently did small car repairs for family members at no cost. He was known for giving rides, helping people in need and always enjoyed taking our younger family members out to eat. It was his dream to own his own car wash one day, and now his dream is lost forever.

We can't begin to imagine how it could be that he was found slain outside an Omaha police station and are trying to deal with this trauma. My Papi was our sole providor and we are terrified for our future without him. We also want to ensure he has a proper funeral, but we don't have the money to pay for his final expenses.
