Judys funeral expenses and medical

My mom Judy Stoops passed away on January 23, 2018 and I am now finding that there is no life insurance, from what I can tell it lapse after she went to the hospital last year and never got caught back up. we are currently scrambling to get the funds needed to just start the burial process, I am also trying for some loans to help out my Step dad to make sure we can get this done,, but I am afraid we are going to have to ask friends and families to help if they can. we have taken steps to keep the pricing low, and Jim and Mom already have their plots paid for.
