Judy's Battle

A few words come to mind when I think of my friend Judy. Kind, caring, supportive, loving, selfless, helpful, loyal and many more.
Judy has been one of my closest friends for over 20 years now. She is a single mother of two beautiful girls, of which she has done a brilliant job in raising.
Never asking for any hand outs or assistance.
She has been a self-employed Family Daycare Educator for 25 years.
During this time she has helped many families during their times of crisis.
A few weeks before Christmas she discovered lumps in her lower abdomen. Upon investigation these lumps were found to be Ovarian Cancer. Judy now faces her own crisis as she battles this hideous disease that is cancer.
As a Family Daycare Educator, unfortunately there is no income if you are not working.
Over the coming months Judy will have specialist appointments, surgery and chemotherapy which will put her out of work. Her first surgery is scheduled for next week.
Unfortunately there are still bills to be paid (mortgage repayments, utility bills, medical costs etc).
I would love to assist her in taking away some of her financial stress that she has been placed under, in order for her to focus on her health and healing.
