During a skate roadtrip to Italy, Juan’s VX1000 got stolen, along with its fisheye lense, batteries, tapes.. And all the footage from the trip.

The love Juan had for his camera and for shooting skateboarding with it was amazing. It was all about getting a solid crew together and hitting the streets with a creative outlook.

The memories captured on the tapes can never be restored, but getting a new camera kit is definitely possible. Especially for one of the most humble and hardest working guys we know.

The Sony VX1000 is the most iconic camera in skateboarding. Before the HD era, every skate video was filmed using that camera.

Flash forward to 2018, the VX look got back into the scene. However, getting one of these cameras is quite hard, since they are not produced anymore. The specific fisheye lense is even harder to get.
