Juanita Flynn's Cancer Fight

I am Juanita's son Joshua. I am trying to help my mother receive the treatment she needs. My mother Juanita Flynn, formally from Croque, Newfoundland, currently living in Carstairs, AB was recently diagnosed with stage 4 incurable metastatic colon cancer. She is currently undergoing palliative chemotherapy. Her colon cancer have been found to exhibit a genetic condition called microsatellite instability which would make the cancer likely to respond to and be controlled by immunotherapy checkpoint inhibitors such as nivolumab. Provincial governments do not pay for these medications. I am trying my best to help out but am finding it very difficult. The treatment will help my mother, Juanita, live a longer life. The cost would be approximately $10,000 per month. We would like to raise at least $30,000 to start with, to get the treatment started ASAP. This amount will pay for approximately 3 months of treatment. When proven successful over 3 months of treatment we can lobby the government to fund the rest. We just have to get 3 months covered on our own in order to do so.
