Top surgery

Hi My name is Tyler and I am a trans man. If you've made it to this page I'm already grateful. Being a trans man means I suffer from dysphoria which is the condition in which my mental state deteriorates because of my mental disconnect from the body in which I was born. I'm raising money to pay for top surgery which will help my mental health extremely. Top surgery is surgery performed on the chest as part of gender reassignment, especially to remove breast tissue and produce a masculine appearance of the chest in female-to-male surgery. My chest is a huge source of dysphoria for me. So I wear a binder (an undergarment that helps to flatten the chest) everyday. Having a vaguely flat chest while wearing a binder gives me gender euphoria. From the day I started wearing it, it simply felt right. However  binding is very uncomfortable, so it can only be done for a certain number of hours per day / days per week. Binding also has a number of health-risks. Funds raised here will help pay for things like copay for my consultation, the deposit to secure a surgery date, supplies needed to aid in post-op recovery, as well as helping cover bills during recovery when I can't work. I need money for this surgery that will result in the bettering of my mental health and the comfort I feel in social situations.  Any. Donation.
