6th Annual Junior Shag Dance Team

We are a group of young Carolina Shag dancers ages 14-20 from all over the South wanting to raise money to offset expenses including travel, lodging, costuming, etc. Our goal is to spread the dance we love to the world in hopes of keeping Carolina Shag and it's deep-routed traditions alive. One of the reasons why we wanted to set up a gofundme is because we wanted to reach a larger target audience. We know that people who appreciate dance and admire young people would gladly support a young team wanting to selflessly to do something with their lives while preserving the concepts of a Southern pastime like Carolina Shag, which is also the state dance of North and South Carolina.

Please consider making dreams for this team such as taking their dance overseas and such as traveling to auditions for television a reality! Every penny counts and your support means the world to our team members and our families...

The Junior Shag Dance Team Inc. is registered with the IRS as a 501(C)3 non-profit public charity and has received tax-exempt status.
