Needing help for basic needs

Due to circumstances out of our control we had to leave our studio apt. Our rent won't be refunded. We had to quickly find another place for now and pay another month's rent. We are only asking for some help getting through this month with basic needs. Our local food bank could only provide us with less than a week's worth of food. Times are tough here. We feel terrible asking. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. After we reach our goal any further donations will go towards a security deposit needed in order to sign a new lease. This lease will lower our monthly rent considerably helping us to dig out of this unexpected hole. Thank you from the both of us.
