National Young Leaders Conference

Our son Danny, based on academic achievement and demonstrated leadership potential, has been nominated to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, DC.  
He will proudly represent Leggee Elementary and the community of Huntley, Illinois.  For this, we are beyond proud.
The nation's capitol will serve as a living classroom.  Danny, along with students from across the nation, will attend interactive workshops, explore historical sites and work together in a Voices in Change project that will help Danny become a leader within his school and our community.  
Danny has been given the task of fundraising and going out in the community to find sponsors who will help him make this opportunity a reality.  We are asking our family, friends, and community to help him reach his fundraising goal of $3500.  No donation is too small.
