Joy's 60th Birthday Fund For Children's Hospice

On January 15th, I will be turning 60. This will be my first year without my father, who passed away at the end of 2019. Toward the end of his life, irreplaceable moments were spent with my father amongst myself and other family members. We were given this time through hospice. My father had a wonderful life of 87 years, and it still felt as though it was not nearly enough. As children far younger than my father embark on a similar journey, I am asking you to join me in support. These children and their families are in need of funding as the necessities for children's hospice care are seemingly countless.

For my 60th birthday, I am asking my friends to join me in supporting the Jo Elyn Nyman Anchors Program for Children at Hospice of Michigan, Ann Arbor Hospice. Anchors Programs for Children is the only statewide pediatric hospice program. They offer a full continuum of pediatric services to support families with children facing life-limiting illness. Their specialty trained staff provides medical, social, spiritual and emotional support to help navigate complex medical situations.
