Last week, our mom was brought back to the ICU because of high fever and blood pressure. Results showed that she had another stroke which caused her to be in a really critical shape. The hospital told us that soon, she will need to undergo this last test to ensure her then state. Our dad fought so hard so all of us 6, her children, can be with her until her last breath.
We are thankful for the extension they gave us. Today was pretty hard, because the hospital called my dad and told him that they needed to do the test already and that they have already given us enough time. They wanted to do the test and made a declaration of her status.
Our dad begged the hospital to give us another day so we can wait for our other sibling to come. Today, they ran the test. They told us that they just cannot keep on postponing it. And so with a heavy heart, we agreed to run the test but insisted that they give us few more days to wait for our sister Yoj before we come up with a decision.
Tonight, we received a call from the hospital. The doctor said our mom was declared clinically brain dead at 5:15pm. Again, we heard our dad begging if they can just give us one more day after tomorrow just so Yoj can say her proper goodbye to our mom.
We are asking for your prayers that God will touch their hearts and allow us to spend one more day with her. We are already preparing for mom's funeral service as well, and we are humbly asking for your help to help us cover some of the expenses to allow us to give our mom a decent funeral service.
We will always remember our mom as a strong, loving and kind person. Anyone who knows her would know that she was a loving mother to us and wife to our dad.

Mom, we know we will see you again soon, maybe not in this lifetime anymore but we will make sure that we will all do our best to spend the rest of days here on Earth doing good deeds. We know mom, you will be in heaven and that's where we plan and will want to meet you in the future once again.
