Dear community of Joy of Being and Jane Sanguinetti,
As fires are burning in California, a devoted friend of the Coastside has suffered severe burns on both of her legs in an unrelated accident. After 10 years of tireless service as owner of Joy of Being in Moss Beach, holistic healer Jane Sanguinetti, is humbly in need of financial support while her body heals.
On Wednesday 11/7, Jane was severely burned when her clothing caught fire in a horrible accident. She is completely unable to work or even stand because the burns are severe on both of her legs. Her medical doctor is estimating she will be recovering and out of work for another 3-4 weeks.
A single mother living in Pacifica, Jane is self-employed with no disability benefits. She is seeing a wonderful burn specialist two to three times a week and is in good spirits, feeling grateful for her life. Jane has been serving the local community in Moss Beach by stewarding the Joy of Being healing center and classroom space. Joy of Being has served thousands of local residents with yoga and movement classes, temple space and private healing services.
