Trans Surgery - A Journey to Self

My name is Indi. I am creating this gofundme in order to raise money to help my husband, Kyris, and our family. We are planning for Kyris to have Top surgery in October 2017. This will cause Kyris to be out of work for 4 weeks while he recovers. In that time we will still have regular bills and we have to pay his portion of bills for the surgery up front, prior to the procedure. After several denials, the insurance company will finally be covering majority of the surgery.

For those who don't know, Kyris is a Trans man. (He was born female and is currently in the process of making the necessary changes to live his life the way it should be). He will take one of the biggest steps of his transition by having this Top Surgery procedure to remove his female breasts and reconstruct that area to match his male gender. I am extremely proud of him for taking this step.
