Journey Needs a wheel chair van
Our dear friend Denise Williams and her family would never ask for themselves, so I will. They desperately need a van with wheelchair lift for their beautiful daughter Journey who has mulitple debilitating special needs. She's unable to move on her own or respond to others. Her Mom lifts all of her 80 pounds in and out of her car to transport Journey to school, endless doctor visits and ER trips. Although you'd never know, its gotten to the point that it's doing damage to Denise's discs in her back to do this; along with other things we normally take for granted; like lifting Journey into her bath/shower. Our goal is to help our friends purchase a used wheelchair compatible van with a lift, and any funds left over would help them modify their bathroom so Journey's shower chair can be rolled in and require less lifting by her family members. Denise is a very caring loving Mom who works, takes care of home, and other children. Please help us spread this campaign and make a difficult situation easier for all involved.
