Hi, I am Lisa and i am fundraising for my close friends whos 9yo boy has passed away. I am funraising to help with funeral costs.  I have attached the story below.

A nine-year-old boy is in hospital with critical injuries after being struck by an alleged drink driver at Springwood last night (December 25).

Police will alleged around 7.20pm a vehicle was travelling along Jardine Street when it failed to negotiate a turn into Rholanda Crescent, colliding with a parked vehicle before then striking the boy who was walking nearby.

The car then continue driving through a hedge, colliding with a large water tank before crashing into a house situated in Rholanda Cresent. The house sustained substantial damage to its right hand side.

UPDATE: A boy injured in a serious traffic crash in Springwood on December 25 has died.

The nine-year-old was struck by a vehicle that had lost control near the intersection of Jardine Street and Rholanda Crescent.

He was transported to Lady Cilento Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

He passed away in hospital this afternoon.
