Jon+Lori's Road to Recovery

We are looking for financial help dealing with the families bills during healing after a series of medical misfortunes and what will be a long road to full recovery.


FULL STORY

Starting in January Jon Ljungberg was feeling exhausted and his legs were uncomfortably swollen to the point that crocs were his only option for shoes.  His shortness of breath one morning lead him to a trip the the ER but he fell unconscious in a snow bank before even arriving. 

Turns out he needed six blood transfusions immediately to get his levels up because he had:
-internal bleeding
-double pneumonia 
- liver failure (mild-severe liver damage)
-enlarged heart
-fluid in just about everywhere that it was not supposed
-immune system issues

And now..
motor function and cognitive issues.

During the first week of his stay here at HSc, Jon's wonderful partner Lori took a tumble and needed surgery to get equipped with new rods and plates in her leg.

Jon is an entertainer and makes his money via contracts. Without the ability to even leave the hospital for any gigs there is no income now for over a month. Lori is partially covered financially by work.

During this time Jon and Lori's children took over moving them out of their old house and into a new one including legal issues along with the physical aspects. They have taken time out of their own work and school schedules and taken over some of the financial burden. Jon's family have flown up to help care for them as well. (Because they're just the best)
