Jonathan Kodama

I am overwhelmed with grief and my heart is broken. I lost my oldest of three son’s Jonathan Edwin Kodama at the of age 25. A mother should never have to bury their child. My son Jonathan was a kind and loving person with a huge heart. Jonathan loved his family and friends and would go above and beyond for any of them.

On January 16th, 2019 Jonathan was found, by his father, unresponsive in his bed.  According to paramedics Jonathan had been deceased for 6 hours. The reason for his death is still unknown. Jonathan was in good health and we are clueless to why my 25 year old son did not wake up that morning. We are left with this mystery waiting up to 6 months for autopsy results. If you knew Jonathan, you know that he was always a good man and had an entire life ahead of him.   He will truly be missed by all his family and friends. His father, brothers, and I are in disbelief. This an unexpected loss that has left us with unexpected funeral costs and arrangements. We are asking for any help you can give so that I may lay my son to rest and celebrate the short life God allowed him to live. Thank you for your support and prayers. Jonathan was God’s blessing to our family as a peacemaker with a smile filled with the love of Jesus. You will always be in our hearts. RIP “Papito”!!
