Jolie vs. leukemia round two!

In March of 2015, at the age of 7, Jolie was diagnosed with leukemia. After a long, brave fight, she was finally cancer free and ended her treatment in 2017.
One week before the 4 year anniversary of her original diagnosis, her mother received a call from her oncologist. Jolie's routine monthly blood test brought terrible news. The leukemia has returned. Once more this sweet 11 year old girl is being called to fight for her life.
For the next month, Jolie will be in the hospital to receive an absolutely brutal first stage of treatment. This first month is dire and will determine everything. We are praying that after this initial run of intense chemotherapy that the cancer will go into remission and Jolie will then start her two year run of ongoing treatments. We know from Jolie's first run in with leukemia that the treatments are painful and physically draining. She becomes so weak and lethargic, it's like her childhood is being stolen away. Jolie, her family, and friends are absolutely heart broken and devastated by what she is facing yet again.
Melanie is going to need to be constantly by Jolie's side for the next month in the hospital and capable of being home with her for and after the multitude of treatments to come over the next years.
Melanie and Jolie need our prayers, love, and emotional support. They will also need our financial support. In addition to day to day living expenses Jolie's home will need some modifications for her health, safety, and happiness which will be a difficult challenge being that Melanie will not be able to work full-time.
I have started this fundraiser in the hopes that Melanie and Jolie will have a buffer from financial worries and be able to focus on healing and regaining the joys of childhood.
