Syrian Child Refugees - Kilimanjaro
Donation protected
In 3 weeks my wife, Joanna Addison, will set off to climb Mount Kilimanjaro – a dream of hers for years. She would like to use that dream for the benefit of some of the most vulnerable and in need individuals in today's world. Syrian child refugees. For these children, what's at stake isn't politics. It's their future. Many have already lost their loved ones, homes, schools; suffered injuries; and experienced unspeakable violence and brutality. More than 1 million Syrian refugee children are missing out on education. They rarely have access to healthcare, often have to work to support their families, and are vulnerable to sexual abuse and exploitation. This is her message:
"This should not be happening! I would like to help. My own children are half Syrian, their cousins are still living in Syria, and it breaks my heart that we are not doing more. The next time you tuck your child into bed, or plan their next birthday party, or kiss them goodbye outside school, please spare a thought for the millions of Syrian children who will never experience this.
Some 2.6 million Syrian children are living as refugees or on the run in search of safety. Please help me help them by donating. All monies will be used to donate to UNHCR’s campaign to help Syrian refugees."l
We will transfer the funds directly to the UNHCR Syrian refugees donation account.
