To help Maudie win this fight, her brother James will donate his bone marrow and her sister Emmy will bring her love and support. Together, with their loving parents, Cailtin Mulcahy and Andrew van Bommel, they are “Team Hero”!
We are friends of this amazing family and we have long been inspired by their strength and have wished hard for their happy ending. We invite you to be part of a circle of hope “Team Maudie” and to let the family know you are supporting them.
The next few months will be difficult and costly for them. Shortly the family will head to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto for this procedure. They will have considerable expenses in terms of hotel costs, transportation, meals, and other incidentals during their expected 90+ days of treatment there. You can help by making a donation.
