Hi, my name is Ally Fletcher. I want to tell you a little bit about myself and my passion.
Whether it’s getting dirty on the field or making lifelong friendships and memories, I have always had a love for softball.
When I step on the field everything goes silent, I hear nothing but the girls around me. I always have a nervous feeling at first, but in the back of my head I know that I have what it takes to get my team and I to the winning spot. I step in the circle and I throw the first pitch and all nerves are gone. It’s game on!
As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that my passion for softball is something I want to take to the college level. I am a competitive person, and nothing is more competitive to me than college sports. I want to play college ball not only for my competitive side, but also for the little me that started in first grade and fell in love with the game.
Ultimately my goal is to play softball at the college level, to gain more knowledge of the game. To learn the ins and the outs, so that one day I can teach all the girls out there that share the same passion as I do.
I share my story with you, to let you know that I have recently been invited to play with a nationally recognized organization called SoCal Athletics. This is taking it to the next level for me. Competing at this level not only requires passion, hard work and training. It also requires lots of travel and training cost.
