Join in the fight for Richelle's life

While we hoped that this would not be necessary, our family now needs the help of the ones that we love more than ever and Richelle is now ready to tell her story. In November, Richelle was given her third diagnosis that her tumors had come back and that they were more aggressive than ever before. Richelle began her treatment knowing that her God is bigger and trusting that she would again put this sickness behind her. After beginning radiation and chemo, Richelle was rushed to the hospital on Saturday, February 16th with excessive swelling in her neck and face. While in the hospital, new scans were taken and the doctors report shook our world. The doctors explained to Richelle and the family that the tumor in her neck had grown to a massive size and that it was pushing on her windpipe and esophagus. They shared that there was nothing more that they could do other than to make her comfortable and gave her just two weeks to a month to live. While we appreciated the doctor’s opinion and expertise, Richelle let the doctors know that her fight was not over and that no man would put a time limit on her life. While this news was hard for our family to hear, our faith grew that much stronger in trusting the healing power of our God. However, at that point we understood that what we needed was a miracle. Over the last month, God has brought many individuals into our lives who have significant knowledge and experience in fighting cancer with a more holistic approach. Richelle is continuing treatment but has also chosen to integrate these methods in an effort to build her strength, increase her energy, and starve the cancer. IT IS WORKING!!! I have personally seen the power of prayer, an organic diet, and natural remedies provided in God’s wonderful creation cause the tumors to shrink, die, and fall off of her body. It is now March 24th, God and Richelle have already proven doctors wrong! This is why we need your support. Richelle’s husband, Shelden (the families only breadwinner) and her mother, Tina have taken family medical leave from work to be by Richelle’s side 24/7 during this time. While Richelle is blessed to have insurance which covers critical medical expenses and chemotherapy, the additional expenses of integrative/holistic medicine have been piling up. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated including your prayers and agreement in faith for FULL healing and recovery. Richelle has many more years to spend with her family including watching her two young children grow. We are looking forward to Richelle’s testimony and thank you for being a part of our miracle.
