Join Holly's Fellowship in Israel
Dear friends and family,
I’m honored to share that I have been recently accepted into the Galilea Fellowship program partnered with the Philos Project . This is a 3 month fellowship of living in Israel; encouraging locals with English, learning about Jewish-Christian relations, learning Hebrew, archeological digs, and more! I applied to this program because my career interests are in conflict resolution between languages, cultures, and religions and I think this program is a beautiful way of starting conversations between people with diverse backgrounds. As a follower of Christ it is important to start with my own faith.

The tuition is $1,700 and I’m taking a new humbling step to ask for help in the program costs. I did check with the program and unfortunately there are no scholarships available. I found out I was accepted this week and must have the deposit in by Tuesday (July 23rd) in order to fulfill my acceptance.
The $1,700 includes accommodation, classes, program related travel, etc. I can provide my own costs for groceries, insurance, etc. I have also been generously given a flight subsidy from Passages Israel (I went to Israel in May with them) for my round trip flight.
As some of you may know, I have experienced difficulties financing my education (which is sadly too common in the States); however I have to say this past year the right scholarships were provided at the right time (one point I signed up for online classes -- which I thankfully did not need to do). Each time I was in a challenging financial situation, the Lord faithfully provided for me whether it was through a job/internship, scholarship, encouragement, place to live (and very often a mix of those)!
So it is to you, my friends and family, that I trustily extend this invitation to join this journey with me whether it is through monetary support (no matter how small it is appreciated), encouragement, following my story, or prayers -- it's all important and would be a delight to share! I commit myself to sharing this journey with you all through bi-weekly updates via email (comment if you'd like to be included - I will automatically add all who give).
It is an honor to be accepted and I would love to learn from this fellowship that engages in such needed conversations in such a diverse part of the world.
Yours truly,
Holly
