Join Candy in her fight against AL Amyloidosis

Three years ago a dream came true. After years of trying, Candy Bright -Russell was blessed to give birth to her son. Candy is a wife, mother, and coworker who after spending a lifetime saving the lives of others as a nurse finds herself in need of saving.
Shortly after giving birth Candy began to experience a series of strange health issues. In November of 2018 after multiple visits to many different physicians she was given the diagnosis of a rare immune disorder called Amyloid light-chain (AL) amyloidosis.
AL amyloidosis is a rare disorder where immune proteins are improperly folded by the immune system causing them to form deposits in the body that cause organ failure.
Candy's physician explained to her that she had to begin treatments soon in order for her to see her son's 5th birthday. She also shared that stem cell therapy was the only available treatment for a chance of long term remission.
Unfortunately Candy's family soon discovered that there was only one hospital in the United States that provided the needed stem cell treatment, and that even with insurance they would need to provide $250,000 to cover the cost of her treatment. Without significant funds the hospital refused to begin treatment.
The purpose of this campaign is to help raise the money for Candy's stem cell treatment and to help cover the expenses of additional therapies that will help give her the time she needs to raise money for stem cell treatment. Every dollar helps relive her of the burden of mounting medical bills and travel to the few medical facilities that treat her condition.
Please consider supporting Candy as she fights for her son, her husband, her family, and her life.
