Johnson City Cheer London Trip

Maegan Martinkovic, a senior on the JC cheer team, was chosen based on an intense tryout process at our recent UCA camp in Massachusetts to be a part of the UCA All-American Cheer team. As a part of this team, she will represent Johnson City in London for a New Year’s Day parade. 

Maegan is a national champion dancer and was a part of Johnson City’s section IV Co-Ed champion cheer team that attended the State Championships this year. However, she is ALWAYS looking to improve her skills so she always sees something she could’ve done better. This is why when her coaches saw a stellar tryout comprised of beautiful jumps (coming off of 4 stress fractures in her foot) and a PERFECT dance routine complete with facials, she listed off the things she could improve on. She works hard at everything she does whether it’s dance, cheer, school or even dog sitting ;)

On top of this, she is also concerned about helping out others on her team and making them feel loved and appreciated as members of her team. This quality is something that cannot be taught but is an innate part of her spirit. 

She has been apart of the cheer team for four years and deserves this opportunity of a lifetime. We are looking for supporters to send her to London.
