Johns Family Support

Yesterday, around 4 p.m. Amy Mix Johns was in extreme pain which caused a few panic/anxiety attacks. I rushed her to urgent care at the hospital. She was quickly emitted with a fever of 102.9. The nurse gave her some pain medication, which helped bring her fever down to 100.8. It turned out that the kidney stone was blocking her up, which caused a fairly serious infection and kidney concerns. She went in for surgery around 8:20 p.m. for a stint. Before and during surgery her ...blood pressure dropped dramatically which was due to her body fighting the infection. The stint was successfully installed, and it drained the fluid that was causing the infection. The kidney stone will have to broken up with a lazer at a later date. They have kept her heavily sedated (I would call it a medically induced comma) and hooked up to various machines to control her breathing, blood pressure, etc. so her body along with antibiotics can fight off the infection. She is in the ICU and sounds like she could be here for a few days. It was about midnight when I got to see her and talk to her in her room. If you could please pray for her.
