Johnny Medina - Stage 4 Cancer Fund

This GoFundMe site is built for my Dad,   Johnny P. Medina who grew up in Redcliff, Colorado and is a father of 4, a grandfather of 8, an uncle, brother, and son. He was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer,  not the first time but maybe for the last time. This on the heels of beating  Hep C and surviving TWO Liver Transplants. This Cancer is inoperable and no timeframe has been quantified yet.


Johnny is approved for medical marijuana but cannot afford to purchase it in Massachusetts where he lives. I am asking for help, my goal is based on 52 weeks of funds to cover all costs and expenses associated with Marajuana treatment.  I estimated $120/wk would cover medicine, gas to travel, any supplies needed and not leave a financial burden on my parents. The need is NOW and planned for 12 mo.

While Johnny has always been self sufficient, if there is enough funds, they could also use the money to pay for heating fuel in their home. $600 fill x 6 visits, from Wheeler Oil.  Johnny has always prepared for winter by cutting and chopping up 7 cords, to burn in their wood stove which we installed in 2012.  It would be nice to fight this Cancer in a warm home without struggling to chop wood or slip on the ice, just a thought to supplement the cause.

They struggle month to month on retirement budgets and while the state of Massachusetts has been wonderful blessing with the healthcare and treatment, it stops there.
