Johnny Sambrano

My name is Milissa and I am the oldest niece of Johnny Sambran.

It is with a sad and heavy heart that my family and I reach out to everyone for their generousity, love and support in this difficult time.

On the morning of Christmas Eve, Johnny was struck by a 2013 black Diesel Dodge Ram right in front of his home that he shared with his parents, son, and immediate family.  The driver of the truck backed up, drove around Johnnys body, and kept on going. Johnnys parents held him on the side of the road until paramedics arrived taking him to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley. Johnny fought for his life for over 15 hours, with shattered bones and internal bleeding that Dr.'s were not able to repair. With his family at his side, we sadly held Johnny as he let go of his pain and went to be with the Lord at 11:20pm. Johnny was only 35 years old.

Not only has this become a heavy burden emotionally for the family in the sudden tragic passing of Johnny, we are now faced with the financial burden of having to lay Johnny to rest peacefully.

At this time we reach out to our family, friends, neighbors and community asking anyone and everyone to help our family say our final goodbyes to Johnny, a son, brother, father, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Any donation in any amount is greatly appreciated.  All funds will go directly to the parents of Johnny to help pay for his services.

Not only are we asking for help with the expenses to properly bury Johnny, we are also asking for help in bringing the person responsible for this tradegy to justice.  Security footage from Johnnys home was able to capture the truck on video.  The footage also shows a white car that seems to be an Infinity returning to the scene hours after Johnny was hit and again on Monday 12/26 after the family set up a memorial were Johnny was hit. The driver seems to be 20-30 years old, hispanic with a mustache and wearing a baseball cap both times he returned. He seems to be looking around nervous and upset.  This happened on Old Elsinore Rd between Church and Orange St in Mead Valley.  Any information on either vehicle or persons is tremedously appreciated.

Johnny did not deserve this. He did not deserve to be left there on the side of the road. His parents should not have the memory of holding their broken sons body as they waited for help. The person or persons who did this to Johnny and our family deserve to be held responsible. They know what they have done, and so do we.  Help us find who they are.

Anything and anyone can help. Please share.

All donations will be given directly to Yolanda Gray, Johnnys mother.
