John & Diane are getting married!

Hi! My name is Diane, and after being together with the love of my life, John, for about 10 years, he's proposed to me! We have 4 children, with the 2 youngest being ours together. As you can tell, it's financially difficult to put together a wedding on a budget with a family of 6. Getting married is so important to us, and we've been waiting for this moment for a long time. I don't expect anything extravagent, but we would like our special day to be nice and classy. I do a lot of work with my community, and help as many people as I can, with the work that I do. John is also the type of person who would give someone the shirt off his back. We are not the type to ask for money, and have never had anything like this before. I also suffer from a rare disease, that makes it impossible for me to work. I have Syringomyelia, and have been diagnosed with two syrinxes inside my spinal cord. I am too risky, and too complicated, to be a candidate for surgery, so it's slowly deteriorating my nervous system. Aside from being extremely painful, this disease also limits my daily activities. Some days are good, and some days are horrible, with me never knowing what day will be like what. On top of that, last year, John got hurt at work, and basically broke his back. We've been trying to keep things going, but it's been difficult to even keep our heads above water. Love will prevail, and we know in our hearts, that our needs will be met. This isn't a need, but a desire, and all we're asking is that anyone who can contribute, would contribute. We want to be able to invite our friends and family to celebrate our special day, and to do that, we need some financial help. We are planning a wedding for May, 2017, so all help is very appreciated! We need wedding attire, suits, dresses, shoes, gowns, hair and nails done, etc. We also need to rent a venue to hold the ceremony and reception, and we will need to have catering done. We would also love to have some music, whether it's a band or a dj, so we can enjoy our first dances as a married couple. We also need a photographer, to help capture the moments we are about to share. We have friends and family, out of state, that we would love to be able to have join us for this incredible day. This would mean the world to me, and my future husband, and our children are ecstatic that this is finally happening! We would forever be thankful, and hold each of the contributors in our hearts, to be remembered forever.
