John Barry Merrifield

On Friday, July 20th, an amazing man was taken from this world. He was in a tragic motorcycle accident a short distance from his home in Cumberland, Rhode Island. As many of you know, John had an uplifting spirit, a great sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and was a generous and truly kind person. He has touched so many hearts, and created countless memories in the friendships that will be celebrated for years to come.

John leaves behind his wife Veronica, daughter Samantha, grandson Jaxson, along with his other family members including his mother Claire, his father Walter, his brother Scott, and sister Michelle. Within this past year Veronica has lost her father and her sister. Our hearts are shattered for her and her family in the wake of now losing her husband.

We created this page to show support for the family and help take away some of the financial burden accompanied with this tragedy.
