Joe McNally is the kind of man, husband, father and citizen we should all aspire to be.
As some of you are aware, Joe is in the midst of dealing with a very significant health challenge.
Always a man of humility, Joe would feel out of place ever asking for a hand. However, we firmly believe that it is times like this that our friend and his family deserves all of the love and support that we can offer.
In late September 2017, while at work, Joe discovered the first symptoms of what was swiftly diagnosed as advanced stage kidney cancer. Since that time, and despite surgeries and several strenuous rounds of inpatient and outpatient treatments, nothing could be done to prevent the further advancement of Joe’s illness.
Joe has been off work since his diagnosis was given.
Recently, after a prolonged stay in the hospital, Joe returned home to be with his beloved family.
Joe continues to fight every day, while at the same time striving to live his final days to the fullest, while being with his beautiful and wonderful family including his high school sweetheart and wife Jan, along with their wonderful children Paige, Cohen and Judd. A perfect example of Joe’s approach to his final days is found in the attached CTV clip featuring their daughter Paige, and Joe’s goal of making it to Toronto on June 18th to attend the Blue Jays “Unstoppable Kids” awards evening where Paige will receive an award and be a guest speaker:

Attached below is a link which has been established as a means of raising funds for Joe’s family. The purpose of this initiative is to assist Joe in achieving some of his final goals. As selfless and courageous a person as one can name, it will come as a surprise to nobody that Joe’s concerns at this time are reserved not for himself, but for his family.
We urge you to provide whatever financial contribution you are able to in order to assist Joe and Jan and their wonderful children.
We have utilized the GoFundMe platform in order to facilitate the collection of contributions to aid Joe and his family. We urge you to distribute this appeal to as many of Joe’s supporters, colleagues and friends as possible.
