Backpacking Peru With a Purpose!

Hello friends and family!

The people of Peru and I need your help! As some of you may know, I am headed to Peru for 6 weeks this summer! I am going with a nonprofit organization called Operation Groundswell (link below if you'd like more info) to help the people of Equitos, Peru with whatever projects they need help with.  

I'd like to humbly ask you all for any contributions you can offer (monetary/hiking gear/advice/etc).  With this request I offer a promise to give myself entirely to this project and the people of Peru! 

This is a once in a lifetime chance for me, so I will find a way to fund it if I cannot fundraise enough, but just know that any big donators can expect a little suprise from South America upon my return :). 

I thank you all for your support and will document this trip as well as possible so that I can share the wonderful experiences and challenges that I know are headed my way!
