Keep WW2 Vet in his home

Donation protected

My father enlisted in the Army as the country moved towards WW2.  The Army Air Corp was being formed.  He became part of it and attained the rank of First Lieutenant and a navagator of B-17 bombers.  During the war he flew 35 missions over Nazi Germany and miraculously made it home after almost being shot down several times.  Upon discharge from the armed forces Joe came home to marry the love of his life, Lillian.  Together they had 3 childeren in the home he built with his own two hands.  He worked for 34 years in the labratory at Scott Paper where he set up the first environmental polution plant in NYS.

Joe is 101 and played golf into his 90s.  He was married to Lillian for 68 years, a goal many of us can only dream of.   He now needs help to do basic daily things like go to the bathroom.  Two of his children have moved back home to help care for him, but he still needs around the clock monitoring with in home nurses.  This costs Joe and his family $60,000 a year.  As you can immagine, living to be 101 has drained the savings and retirement accounts he and Lillian built up together over their 68 years of marriage.  Even with the help of his children the cost of his care has drained everything.  In order to stay in the home he and his wife built together he could very much use your help.

Lets keep this decorated military veteran in his home with his loving children and two amazing care givers.  In the event that Joe passes before all of the funds are used, any remaining donations would go to Veterans Miracle Center and The Leatherstocking Flights that brings veterans to Washington DC to visit the war memorials.
