Joe and Bri Ayers house fire

 


This past weekend, one of our own, experienced a terrible tragedy. Joe Ayers, an 18-year Carter Lumber employee and manager of the West Union, OH location, experienced a major home fire that resulted in the complete loss of his family's home and belongings. Thankful, everyone in his family was able to escape without major injury. 

This was much more than a house to Joe and his family, it was a lifelong dream that Joe built himself on the weekends over the course of the last six years. After investing years of money, blood, sweat and tears into the project, they were finally able to move in this Spring only to see their dream evaporate in a matter of minutes in October.
